ABSS Solutions, Inc. Selected to Support Maryland
PeopleSoft Implementation

Upper Marlboro, MD — ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce the award of a three-year contract from the State of Maryland to provide PeopleSoft functional analysis services to the State.  Under the contract, which started in October 2011, the Maryland Department of Information Technology has acquired the services of ASI to provide a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Business/Functional Analyst.

This position will serve as a key business partner with various functions of HR in the State.  Our staff will utilize extensive knowledge of HR functional processes and PeopleSoft HCM systems to develop and validate function business requirements.  In addition, our staff will:
  • Participate in functional team meetings to document and assess business process changes and their impacts on current State operations.
  • Recommend and influence best practice solutions when it comes to business process improvement and application design.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation efforts, specifically in the areas of Core HR, Time and Labor, Benefits Administration, Employee and Manager Self Service, Position Management and Salary and Classification Administration;
  • Refine functional requirements to include: prioritization, elimination and consolidation;
  • Document requirements for internal and external interfaces, reporting, workflow and security for HR business processes; 
  • Document functional Use Test Cases and scripts;
  • Identify, document and escalate risks and issues; 
  • Serve as the liaison between the project team and State HR agencies for the purpose of requirements validation, issue resolution and coordination of project activities; 
  • Manage expectations, timelines and deliverables and thrive in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Understand the impact changes to the HR system configuration will have on integrated ERP systems and existing internal and external interfaces; and
  • Adhere to project protocols and guidelines, reporting to the project manager.

ABSS Solutions, Inc. enters the World of Cloud Computing

Upper Marlboro, MD — ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Clear Government Solutions to be a reseller of Clear Government’s Cloud and badging solutions.

Clear Government Solutions, Inc. (CGS) is a full service high technology Engineering Design and Systems Integration firm.  Clear Government Solutions is an HSPD-12 end to end solutions provider.  CGS holds three GSA MAS Schedules; 65VA, 70 and 84.  CGS provides a full range of Physical and Logical Security solutions including Identity Management, HSPD-12 products and services, Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance, Electronic Security Systems, Cyber Security Solutions, Help desk and Cloud Computing Products & Solutions.  CGS’ wholly owned subsidiary, Computer Literary World (CLW) is a prime contract holder on the GSA Infrastructure as a Service BPA, awarded in 10/2010.  CLW has an Authority to Operate (ATO) in all three functional areas of the IaaS BPA; Hosting, Virtual Machines and Storage.  CGS has serviced clients such as, Department of the Army, Armed Forces Reserved, National Guard, OCTO & Department of Interior.  CGS possesses the following contract vehicles; Seaport E, Connections II, CIOSP 3 (in evaluation) & GSA IaaS BPA. ABSS Solutions, Inc. receives New Network Support Contract
for the State of Maryland

Upper Marlboro, MD — Under a sub-contract awarded to Mindseeker, Inc., ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a three-year contract to provide network support services to the Maryland Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Administration.  Under the contract which started in July 2011, ASI will provide network support and maintenance services to the more than 100 DoT locations supporting desktops, servers, PDAs, network books, and other network equipment. ABSS Solutions, Inc. awarded five-year Master Contract to Support the State of Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT)

Upper Marlboro, MD — ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) has been awarded a five-year Master Contract with the State of Maryland’s DoIT to provide consulting and technical services on a task order-driven IDIQ contract worth a total of $250,000,000 over five years. Under this contract, ASI will provide services in seven functional areas including web and internet systems, electronic document management, software engineering, systems/facilities management and maintenance, IT management consulting services, business process consulting services, and documentation/technical writing. ABSS Solutions, Inc. has become a Reseller Partner for LogiXML.

Upper Malboro, MD — ABSS Solutions, Inc. is now a Reseller Partner for LogiXML, which is a new business intelligence (BI) software tool. LogiXML will offer data retrieval, dashboards and reporting tools. ASI will offer requirements analysis, installation, configuration, reporting and application maintenance services.


ABSS Solutions, Inc. announces the development of e-React II©, the second release of the ABSS’ 311 Non-Emergency call center solution

Upper Malboro, MD — ABSS Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce the development of e-React II©, the second release of the ABSS’ 311 Non-Emergency call center solution. e-React II© is a comprehensive solution for local governments or facility managers with large clusters of buildings such as a major commercial set of buildings, a college campus or a military reservation. The solutions records callers requests for services and automatically assigns the call to the appropriate services agency, then tracks the request to completion. Fully integrated into the solution is a geographical interface that allows users to visually see where calls are coming from, what services are being requested, and how quickly calls are being closed it totally or by service agency. e-React II© includes a sophisticated keyword systems that uses the callers’ description of a problem to select the most appropriate agency to address and resolve the issue. This system insures consistency in response and allows for less costly call takers to accurately assign calls. Also announced with e-React II© is a Citizens input module that allows citizens to directly make request for services via the Internet. The system allows for private citizens to directly enter their request for services into to e-React II©. In addition, the Citizens’ module allows for finding the most appropriate phone number for city services, checking on the status of a previous request for services and the viewing of certain government procedures and bulletins regarding public space issues or government policy. The e-React II© Citizens Request Module is available now.

ABSS unique marketing solutions for e-React II© allows for government agency’s to acquire a site specific license for e-React II© that allows the government to own and modify the application code. Using the ABSS Solutions Inc. approach, a government agency can acquire the core e-React II© code and modify it themselves, or have ABSS Solutions and our business partners develop and install a complete turn-key solution for the agency and turn over to the government agency complete solutions, including the application code, to the agency.
